Elaine M Steffen

Elaine M. Steffen, 60, of Kutztown Road, Fleetwood (Richmond Twp.), died Saturday, July 23 2005, in her residence. She was the wife of the late August D. Carter Sr. who died November 8, 1994.

Born in Hazleton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Elizabeth (Wallon) Stein. She was a server in the dining rooms of Kutztown University and then was employed by Redner’s Markets, Mount Penn and last working at Weis Markets, Kutztown at the Salad Bar. (She was currently employed at Weis Markets).

She is survived by Son, August D. Carter Jr. of Reading; Sisters, Cathy (Stein) Moore of Hazleton, Chrissy (Stein) Clark of Hazelton; 1 Grandson.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home 333 Greenwich Street Kutztown. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. Friends may call Wednesday 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
