Edwin W Bogert Sr

Edwin W. Bogert, Sr., age 63, of 34 North Park Avenue, Mertztown, Longswamp Twp. PA, died Saturday, January 27, 2001 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. PA. He was the Husband of Julia A. (Reinert) Bogert. The couple celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary this past March.

Born in Allentown PA, she was the Son of the late Edwin V. and Alice L. (Berk) Bogert. He was a propane operator at Dana Corporation, Reading for 30 years retiring April 1, 1999. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers PA. He was also a member of and Master-At-Arms in 1998 of Lost in the 50's, Lehigh County PA.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Brian C. Bogert of Fleetwood PA, Gerald E. Bogert of Fleetwood PA and Edwin W. Bogert, Jr. of Fleetwood PA; Daughters, Deborah E. (Bogert) Barrett of Bernville PA, Tracey L. (Bogert) Barlet of Fleetwood PA, Jacqueline K. Bogert of Fleetwood PA, Pamela K. (Gross) Brintzenhoff of Fleetwood PA and Angela K. (Gross) Schmick of Reading PA; Step Sons, Jeffrey A. Gross of Denver PA, Kevin S. Gross of Mohnton PA and Gary O. Gross of Kutztown PA; Sister, Geraldine (Bogert) Snipes of Jacksonville FL; 13 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and 5 Step Grandsons.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2001, at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Homes, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Twp., Fleetwood PA. Friends may call Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
