Edwin T. Boeshore, 85, of Topton, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown, where he had been a resident since January. He was the husband of Pearl A. (Wetzel) Boeshore, whom he married November 3, 1981.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Franklin B. and Elma A. (Hartzell) Boeshore. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Mr. Boeshore was a 1944 graduate of Muhlenburg High School. He worked in the dust and weed control department of J. H. Ehrlich Corp., Reading, for 10 years. Prior to that, he was employed as a District Manager for the Reading Eagle Company, Reading. Mr. Boeshore was also a former owner and operator of several gas stations throughout the Berks County area. He was a member of the Ray A. Master Post #217, American Legion, Topton, and Goodwill Fire Company, Muhlenberg Twp.
He is survived by Wife, Daughters, Janelle L. (Boeshore) wife of David L. Seaman, Laureldale, Sandra B. (Boeshore) wife of David A. Greth, Troutman, NC; Son, Michael J. husband of Marilyn J. (Leindecker) Boeshore, Mohnton; Step-Daughter, Susan G. (Hall) wife of Emil Ely, Alburtis; Step-Sons, Bruce E. husband of Sandra (Neimeyer) Hall, Mertztown, Terry R. husband of Paula Hall, Lenhartsville, Barry E. Hall, Topton. There are also 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a Son, Thomas E. Boeshore; Sister, Barbara Trenkle, and Brothers, Loring Boeshore and William Boeshore.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family requests contributions be made to Diakon Hospice St. John, 798 Hausman Road, Suite 170, Allentown, PA 18104. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
