Edwin M Bachman

Edwin M. Bachman, 88, of Richmond Township, died Monday, January 12, 2015, in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. He was the husband of Mildred R. (Hartman) Bachman, a resident at Country Meadows, Wyomissing, whom he married January 13, 1962 .

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Edwin D. and Sally Bachman. Mr. Bachman was a member of the United Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He was employed as a welder for Evansville Cement Company, Maidencreek Township, for 42 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Bachman was a member of Huguenot Lodge #377 F & AM, Kutztown, and the Rajah Shriners, Reading. He was an avid hunter and fisherman .

He is survived by Wife; Daughter, Judy D. (Hartman), wife of Michael K. Stalnecker, Narvon; Son, David L. Bachman, Leesport; Granddaughter, Jessica M. (Stalnecker) Sievers, Mohnton. There are also 3 Great Grandchildren, Alyssa M., Gianna J. and Kane R. Sievers. He was predeceased by 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers .

Graveside Services and interment will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, 265 Maidencreek Road, Fleetwood (Molltown). There are no calling hours .
