Edwin J. Billiard

Edwin J. Billiard, 75, formerly of Cresco and Mertztown, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown, where he was a resident for nearly two years. Born in Reading, Edwin was the son of the late Frederick H. Billiard and Ruth E. (Schlegel) Acker.

Edwin honorably and faithfully served his country in The United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Graphite Machining, Inc., Topton, prior to his retirement. Prior to that, Edwin was employed by Lehigh Group, Macungie and Boyertown Casket Company.

Edwin was a diehard NASCAR fan, especially the #3 driven by Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also enjoyed hiking and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.

Edwin is survived by his children, Jessica L. (Billiard), wife of Michael Slawson, Schodack, NY, and Adam R. Billiard, Pennsburg, PA; two grandchildren, Emma J. and Juliana R. Slawson; sister, Delores (Billiard), wife of Ronald Trumbauer, Fleetwood, PA; half brother, Dale Schlegel, and wife Susan, Maidencreek Township; former wife, Brenda J. (Miller) Billiard Witman, Fleetwood, PA, and his niece whom he shared a residence with, Kim Mancini.

Along with his parents, Edwin was predeceased by his brother, Frederick C. Billiard.

Services will be held privately by his family.
