Edna Weyer

Edna (Godshall) Weyer, 104, formerly of Mertztown, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Kutztown Manor, Inc., Kutztown, where she was a resident for one year. She was the widow of Peter Weyer who died in 2002.

Born in Hatfield, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Henry K. and Flora B. (Barndt) Godshall. Mrs. Weyer was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown, and a former member of Grace Lutheran Church, Hatfield, where she was a member of the Faithful Helpers group. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Weyer, along with her late husband, were volunteers for the Lutheran Home at Topton's Meals on Wheels program. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.

She is survived by Daughter, Jeanette (Weyer), wife of Charles H. German, Mooresville, NC; Son, Ronald, husband of Beatrice Joy (McArthur) Weyer, Hamburg; Sister, Pearl (Godshall) Greenholt, Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 15 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment in Hatfield Cemetery, Montgomery County.
