Born on January 19, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Walter W. and Verna C. (Christ) Balthaser. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by Daughter, Darlene M. (Zimmerman) wife of Irvin C. Fox, Kutztown; Sons, Curtis L. husband of Mary E. (Knittle) Zimmerman, Mertztown, Carl L. husband of Gloria J. (Kocher) Zimmerman, Topton; Sister, Ethel V. (Balthaser) wife of Stanley O. Burkert, Kutztown; Brother, Luther W. husband of Edith M. (George) Balthaser, Kutztown; 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Son, Richard M. Zimmerman in 2003.

Funeral Services are Monday, January 25, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Maxatawny. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
