Edith R Bleiler

Edith R. Bleiler, 71, of Conrad Road, Fleetwood, PA (Rockland Township), died Monday, August 2, 2004, in the family residence. She was the wife of Max G. Bleiler. They were married on September 18, 1954.

Born in Lewisburg, PA (Union County), she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and the late Ruth I. (Grothehen) Henning. From 1952 to 1960 she was employed as a registered nurse at the following hospitals; Allentown Hospital, Allentown; Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown; Kaiser-Permanente Hospital, Oakland, CA; and, Baltimore City Hospital, Baltimore, MD. She was a 1952 Graduate of the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing, Allentown. She was a member of Longswamp UCC Church, Mertztown.

She is survived by Husband, Son, Max J. Bleiler, Fayetteville, NY; Daughters, Ellen R. (Bleiler) Connolly, Chalfont, Bucks County, Barbara A. (Bleiler) Ludwig, Reading; Brother, Donald Henning, San Diego, CA; Sisters, Violet (Henning) Yoder, Kutztown, Dorothy Henning, Holiday, FL; 7 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
