Mr. Earl Wittman

Earl Wittman, 90, of Hereford Township, Berks County, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in his daughter's residence. Born in Hereford Township, Earl was a son of the late Frank and Margaret (Younger) Wittman, and was a member of St. Peter's Union Church, Macungie.

Earl was employed by the former Bally Case and Cooler, Inc., Bally, for 43 years, until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of Alburtis Rod and Gun Club and was an avid baseball fan, especially the New York Yankees.

He is survived by his daughter, Gayle L. (Wittman), wife of Dale Schoedler, Hereford Township, and daughter-in-law, Wendy (Moyer) Wittman, widow of predeceased son, Chris A. Wittman, who died on May 5, 2020, also of Hereford Township; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Florence Stoudt, Reading. Along with his parents and son, Earl was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Wittman.

Services for Earl and burial in St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Macungie, will held privately by his family.
