Drena L Kocher

Drena L. (Keller) Kocher, 66, formerly of Reading, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Mifflin Center, Cumru Township.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Alfred E. and Christina M. (Hildenbrand) Keller.  Ms. Kocher was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Rockland Township. Drena was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Class of 1968. She worked as a nurse's aide and secretary at Saint Joseph Medical Center, Reading for 29 years until her retirement in 2002. Drena enjoyed playing BINGO, was a Professional Wrestling and NASCAR fan, loved St. Bernards, and making arts and crafts for friends and staff members at Mifflin Center.

Drena is survived by a Sister, Linda R. (Keller) wife of Walter J. Hess, Gettysburg, Adams County; Brothers, Jerry L. Keller, fiancé of Janet K., Rockland Township; and Kevin M. husband of Maryann (Kapp) Keller, Sinking Spring. Other survivors include her beloved Nieces and Nephews: Tara R. Hess, The Rev. Elizabeth A. Hess, Natalie R. Keller, Stephanie T. Keller, Nathan F. Keller and Brian S. Keller; Great Nieces, Abigail L. and Annabell C. Keller.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, at 11:30 AM from New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood. Inurnment in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Rockland Township. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in the church.
