Dorothy V Hoffman

Dorothy V. Hoffman, 65, of Ontelaunee Township, Berks Co., died Friday, July 8, 2011 at Ephrata General Hospital, Ephrata. She was the wife of Herbert L. Hoffman. They were married December 18, 1965.

Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Amos A. and Verna (Berger) Adam. She was a 1964 graduate of Kutztown High School. Dorothy and her husband owned and operated their family dairy farm. She was a member of Pikeville Sportsmen’s Club, Oley, Fleetwood Grange #1839, and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

She is survived by Husband, Sons, David J. Hoffman and Dean A. Hoffman, both of Reading; Brothers, Wayne widower of Mae (Mertz) Adam, Fleetwood, Marvin, husband of Bertha Adam, Lenhartsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and her dog, Corky. She was predeceased by Brothers, Ernest. Melvin, and Arlan Adam.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Becker’s St. Peters Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the funeral home.
