Mrs. Doris L. Leiby

Doris L. (Seidel) Leiby, 81, of Kutztown, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehab., Allentown. Her husband, Calvin M. Leiby, Jr., predeceased her on September 24, 2011.

Born in Reading, PA on July 17, 1942, Doris was a daughter of the late Robert Seidel, Sr., and Emma C. (Fick) Seidel. Doris was employed by Weis Markets, working as a Deli Clerk at their Kutztown grocery store for 25 years until her retirement in 2012. She was a resident of Kutztown for 51 years and had a love for animals.

She leaves behind her three daughters, Lisa C. (Kline) Stopp, wife of Rick Stopp, Heidi A. Leiby and Lucy A. Leiby-Bellenoit, wife of Mark Bellenoit, all of Kutztown; sister, Gloria (Seidel) Millisock, Lititz; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Doris was predeceased by a brother, Robert, Jr., and a sister, Eileen.

A viewing will be held on Friday afternoon, November 17, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA, followed by a graveside service and burial in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA, at 2:30 p.m.
