Dora M Helbert

Dora M. (Snyder) Helbert, 89, of Maxatawny Township , died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Kutztown Manor, Inc., Kutztown. She was the widow of Walter W. Helbert, who died December 23, 2000 .

Born in Trexlertown, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Helen (Batz) Snyder. Mrs. Helbert was employed as a saleswoman by Renninger's Antique and Farmers Market, Kutztown, for 20 years, retiring in 2003. Dora was an avid fan of Elvis Presley .

She is survived by Daughter, Diane M. (Helbert), wife of Harold E. Aulenbach, Mertztown; Sons, David W., husband of Dianna M. (Pongratz) Helbert, Kempton, Walter W., Jr., husband of Theresa (Konkus) Helbert, Blandon, William A. Helbert, Reading. There are also 6 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Daughter, Sandra M. (Helbert) Kunkel on February 3, 2002; and a Sister, Miriam K. P. (Snyder) Muth on December 26, 2011 .

Funeral Services are Monday, May 12, 2014 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home .
