Donald R Kemp

Donald R. 'Nupper' Kemp, age 70, of 28 South Kemp Road, Kutztown PA, died Thursday, November 29, 2001 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township PA as the result of a Motor Vehicle Accident. He was the Husband of D. Evelyn (Hamm) Kemp, who also died in the accident. The couple celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary this past June.

Born in Kutztown PA, he was the Son of the late Jerry J. and the late Irene R. (Kemp) Kemp. He was an Inspector and a Foreman for over 25 years at Carpenter Technology, Reading PA before retiring in 1986. He was a Member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ Church, Kutztown, where he served several terms as a Deacon and Elder. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his Daughter, Carolyn D. (Kemp) wife of Dr. Eugene Ordway, Jr. of Fogelsville PA; Son, Troy D. Kemp of Shenandoah Junction WV; Sister, Lillian (Kemp) Wagner of Kutztown PA; and 4 Grandchildren.

Joint Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, December 3, 2001 from Saint Paul's United Church of Christ Church, 47 - 51 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown. Family and Friends may call 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Sunday in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, and 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Monday in the Church. Joint interment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.
