Donald L Geist

Donald L. Geist, 74, of Reading, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Reading.

Born in Maxatawny Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late William J., Sr. and Helen H. (Angstadt) Geist. He was a self-employed truck driver for several years. He also drove ambulance in Tennessee. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by Sisters, Evelyn A. (Geist), Kutztown, and Fern G. (Geist) Reidenauer, Hawley, PA. He was predeceased by Brother, William F. Geist, Jr.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in the Union Cemetery of Bowers, Bowers, with Military Honors provided by the Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion Honor Guard, Topton. Friends may call Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

The family requests contributions to the Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, 133 Centre Avenue, Topton, 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
