Donald L Fogelman

Donald L. Fogelman, 69, of Mabry Street, Mertztown, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in his residence. He was the husband of Mary G. (Confer) Fogelman. They were married on May 17, 1958.

Born in Laury’s Station, PA he was the son of the late Millard L. and Dorothy Irene (Ritter) Fogelman. He was a veteran of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was a mechanic at Earl Rhoads Garage, New Jerusalem, for 46 years retiring in 2003. He then worked at Spangler’s Garage from 2004 to 2006 and SOS Repair from 2006 to 2007, both of Mertztown. He was a member of the Pikesville Sportsman’s Association. He was a member of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown.

He is survived by Wife, Sons, Dennis L. husband of Wanda K. (Singley) Fogelman, Allentown, Steven S. husband of Danielle N. (Schlosser) Fogelman, Mertztown; Daughters, Deborah A. (Fogelman) wife of Todd A. Jones, Fleetwood, Sharon A. (Fogelman) wife of William Rothermel, Fleetwood, Christine A. (Fogelman) wife of Roy A. Dolly, Mertztown; Sisters, Marjorie M. Hoppes, Northampton, Janet A. Bender, Walnutport; Brother, Robert P. Fogelman, Fleetwood; 10 Grandchildren; 3 Step Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Sisters, Marilyn J. Fogelman and Mildred R. Dornblaser.

Funeral Services are Friday March 14, 2008 at 8:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Private inurnment at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
