Donald H. “Donny” Kline, 75, of Longswamp Township , died Thursday, June 12, 2014 in his residence. He was the husband of Judith A. (Shetter) Kline. They were married April 22, 1978 .

Born in Hereford Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Herbert and Arlene (Drey) Kline. Mr. Kline was a member of MorningStar Fellowship Church, Bechtelsville. He was employed as a mechanic and greens keeper by Brookside County Club, Macungie, for over 20 years, retiring in 2008. Prior to that, he was employed as a supervisor by the former Klein Foundry. Mr. Kline was a former member of the Macungie V.F.W. Post 9624, Macungie. Donny was an avid golfer and race fan. He was a former racecar driver, having raced in the Sportsman Division with his #73 car. He raced at Evergreen Raceway Park, Mahoning Valley Speedway, the former Reading Fairgrounds Speedway, and the former Dorney Park Speedway, where he had his career win. Donny also was a member of the former Allentown Patriots Fast Pitch Softball Team, where he played third base. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by Wife; Daughters, Debra J. (Kline), wife of Scott M. Buck, Mertztown, Sheila A. (Kline), wife of Darrel R. Herman, Allentown, Tina R. (Cagle), wife of Timothy P. Breiner, Lehighton; Sisters, Elaine (Kline) Kennedy, Macungie, Verna (Kline) Moser, Janet (Kline) Kurtz, both of Florida, Bonnie (Kline) Le, Emmaus; Brothers, Harold Kline and Gary Kline, both of Macungie; 7 Grandchildren, Jeremy D. Krauss, Kelly A. Robidas, Allison M. Botti, Tyler J. Stump, Brad D. Herman, Tabitha L. Keselica, Breeana I. Howard; and 9 Great Grandchildren, Ethan A. Caines, Alyssa L. Krauss, Anthony M. Stump, Nathan P. Keselica, Kylie N. Krauss, Alexis L. Lantz, Rylee L. Keselica, Owen T. Robidas, Elliana F. Herman. He was predeceased by a Brother, Raymond Kline .

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 10:30 AM from MorningStar Fellowship Church, 100 Limekiln Road, Bechtelsville, with Pastor Steven R. DeFrain officiating. Interment will follow in Huff's Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church .
