Donald C Rohrbach

Donald C. Rohrbach, 76, formerly of S. Baldy Street, Kutztown and currently of McKinley Drive, Elizabethtown, PA, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005, in his residence. He was the husband of Joyce L. (Luckenbill) Rohrbach. They were married on November 22, 1953.

Born in Topton, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond L. and Norma L. (Carl) Rohrbach. He was an insurance agent for 24 years in Kutztown for the Prudential Insurance Company, retiring in 1984; prior to that he was a high school teacher in the Brandywine Area School District from 1955 to 1959. He was a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He received his Masters Degree in Education from Temple University. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Huguenot Lodge #377, F & A.M., Kutztown, where he served as Worshipful Master in 1970, was a trustee, and secretary from 1991 to 2004. He was a member and president in 2005 of the East Penn Valley High Twelve #663. He was secretary of the East Penn Chapter #336 of the Order of the Eastern Star from 2000 to 2003. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

He is survived by Wife, Son, Bruce D. Rohrbach, Kutztown; Daughter, Wendie R. (Rohrbach) Spence, Elizabethtown, PA; Sister, Jeannette C. (Rohrbach) Rintye, Downingtown; 19 Granddaughter.

Funeral Services are Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Entombment in Hope Mausoleum, Kutztown. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Order of the Eastern Star Services at 10:10 AM and Masonic Services at 10:20 AM.

The family requests contributions to the Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
