Mr. Donald C. Bower

Donald C. "Donny" Bower, 85, of Longswamp Township, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Barbara M. (Marks) Bower, whom he married on May 12, 1956.

Born in Longswamp Township, Donald was a son of the late Charles H. and Lillian E. (Reppert) Bower. He worked as a Molder at Unicast Co., Boyertown, for over 32 years, and previously worked at the former Caloric Corporation, Topton.

Along with his wife of 66 years, Barbara, Donald is survived by his three children, Russell L. "Russ", husband of Donna I. (Phillips) Bower, Longswamp Township, Donna K. (Bower) Yeager, wife of Daniel T. Lapp, Kunkletown, and Tod C., husband of Trudy L. (Schaffer) Bower, Mertztown; three grandchildren, Christopher L., husband of Hanna (Bauman) Yeager, Joshua H. Bower, companion of Jennifer Campbell, and Jeremy C., husband of Brittney J. (Powers) Bower; and two great-grandchildren, Paisley M. Bower and Payton Yeager.

He is also survived by his two siblings, Shirley A. (Bower), wife of Donald R. Reinert, and Robert C., husband of Karon L. (Faust) Bower, both of Mertztown, and was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth L. Bower in 2003.

At Donald's request, services will be held privately by his family.
