Dolores J. "Dee" (Power) Eastland, 90, of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. She was the widow of the late Dr. Theodore E. Eastland, Sr., who died in 1990, and the longtime devoted companion of the late Paul B. Follweiler, who died in 2007.
Born in West Reading, PA, Dolores was a daughter of the late John H. and Dorothy H. (Schmehl) Power. She was the Manager of Saucony Cross Apartments in Kutztown for 18 years until her retirement in 2003. Dee served as a Sunday School Teacher and choir member at her former church, First Baptist Church of Reading. She currently was an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood, where she proudly served on the church consistory as an Elder and Deacon. She also felt privileged to be involved with many other duties and committees at St. Paul's.
Dee was a member of Order of Eastern Star, No. 336, Kutztown, and was an avid reader.
Dolores is survived by her step-children, Barbara Eastland and Cindy Follweiler; grandchildren, Christopher J., husband of Mary (Engelman) Eastland, Theodore J. "Jamie" Eastland, and Ann E. (Eastland), wife of Daniel Tocatlian; great-grandchildren, Ashley Eastland, Cody, husband of Nicole (Guznay) Eastland and Andrew Tocatlian; great-great grandchildren, Carter and Natalia Eastland; half-sister, Zara Orth; and sister-in-law, Shirley Power.
Along with her husband, companion, and parents, Dee was predeceased by her stepson and daughter-in-law, Dr. Theodore E., Jr., and Patricia L. (Williams) Eastland.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor Dee's life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA, with The Reverend John Folk officiating. Burial will follow in Fleetwood Cemetery, Fleetwood.
