Dewitt C Mcdaniel

Dewitt C. McDaniel Jr., 67, formerly of Georgetown, Del. and Mertztown, died Friday, October 17, 2003, in Brandywine Assisted Living Center, Rehobeth Beach, Del.

Born in Washington, D.C., he was a son of the late Dewitt C. Sr. and Edna M. (Stoudt) McDaniel. He was the owner/operator of the former McDaniel Aluminum Products, Mertztown, from 1960 until retiring in 1989. He was an Army veteran and a trustee of Ray A. Master American Legion Post 217, Topton. He was a member and Tail Twister of the Topton Lions Club.

He is survived by Sons, Kevin M. of Georgetown, Dewitt C. III of Fleetwood; Daughter, Coleen E. Rehrig of Georgetown; Stepson Robert A. Nein, of Fleetwood; Stepdaughter Sue Ann Oswald of Mertztown; Stepbrother, John Auckenbach, of Portland, Maine; 11 Grandchildren, a Great Granddaughter.

Funeral Services Monday, October 20, 2003 at 2:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment with Military Honors in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Monday, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
