Derrin B Steffy

Derrin B. Steffy, 56, of Maidencreek Township, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Donna J. (Keiser) Steffy, whom he married April 11, 1981 .

Born in Allentown, Derrin was a son of the late Jay P. and Nancy L. (Oswald) Steffy. Derrin was a 1977 graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School, Topton, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. He was employed by East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc., Lyon Station, working as a custodian in the S-1 building, for 19 years, last working January 26, 2015. Derrin was a member of Topton Fish and Game Association and a former member of Topton Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 .

He is survived by Wife, Donna; Daughter, Jennifer L. (Steffy), wife of Troy T. Snyder, Blandon; Mother-in-law, Dorothy E. (Hertzog), widow of Carl Keiser, Kutztown; Brothers,  Blake J., husband of Debbie L. (Phillips) Steffy, Fleetwood, Prent L., husband of Deborah J. (Gechter) Steffy, Leesport, Ian C. Steffy, Reading. He was predeceased by his Parents; and a Brother, Justin M. Steffy on November 9, 2000 .

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn officiating. Interment will follow in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Relatives and friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home .
