Dennis E. "Bull" Seibert, 88, devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend and beloved member of the Topton community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Topton, PA, where he spent his entire life building a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering dedication.

He was the husband of Sandra J. (Ziegler) Seibert, whom he married on February 8, 1958. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and partnership, a guiding light for all who knew them. Born in Topton, PA, Dennis was a son of the late Orville K. "Leftie" and Edna M. (Rohrbach) Seibert. He was in the first graduating class of 1956 at Brandywine Heights High School, Topton. Dennis was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown, where he served on the church council.

Working alongside his wife, Sandra, Dennis was the proud owner and operator of Schappell's Hardware in Topton for 32 years, a career he embraced with enthusiasm and commitment. Dennis began working for Mr. Schappell in 1960 prior to purchasing the business in 1966. He was known for his lawn-care and paint expertise. His place of business became a friendly social hangout, which developed into long-lasting relationships. Speaking the Pennsylvania Dutch dialect to his customers was an endearing quality.

Following his retirement in 1999, Dennis was employed as a funeral assistant by Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., Topton and Kutztown, for over 25 years.

Dennis truly loved Topton. He was a member of the former Topton Centennial Committee, where he co-organized their car shows and cruises for many years due to his love of Mustang convertibles. He was also a member of the former Topton Lions Club.

Sports played a vital role in his life. He enjoyed golfing with his wife, family, and friends. He played and coordinated social events for the Lyons Senior Softball. He was also a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.

Along with his wife of 68 years, Sandra, Dennis is survived by his daughter, Dawn D. (Seibert), wife of Marc E. Strausbaugh, Dover, PA; sister, Carol A. (Seibert), wife of Donald J. Confer, Alburtis, PA; niece, Stacy J. (Confer), wife of Bernard Resch, Allentown, PA; two grandchildren, Alison M. Herman, fiancée of Steven L. Monroe, Rehoboth, DE, and Andrew T., husband of Lydia D. Slegel, Westminster, MD; and four great-grandchildren, Melo, Miles, Reese, and Louis.

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Dennis's life will be Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown, PA with the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Sassaman officiating. Interment will follow in Topton Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. in the church. In a final tribute to Dennis and his love of classic cars, guests are encouraged to bring their classic car, wear Dennis's favorite color red, or wear their favorite Steelers attire.

The family would like to thank St. Luke's providers for all their care and support and his niece, Pamela Reinhard for being so wonderful in times of need. As we remember Dennis, let us carry forward his spirit of kindness, compassion, and sincere loyalty to those around him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 117, Mertztown, PA 19539-0117.
