Dennis Mitchell

Dennis L. Mitchell, 71, of Kutztown, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Inpatient Hospice, Allentown, PA. He was the husband of the late Sallie M. (Kutz) Mitchell, who died December 2, 2017. They were married for nearly 40 years prior to Sallie's passing.

Born in Reading, PA, Dennis was a son of the late Melvin R. and Elinor I. (Moser) Mitchell. Dennis was a truck driver for many years, traveling many miles throughout the United States. Most recently, Dennis was employed by Midwest Trucking, Inc. Dennis enjoyed playing the banjo and took great pride in taking care of his home and lawn.

Dennis is survived by his sister-in-law, Betty A. Kutz of Kutztown.

Services for Dennis will be held privately, with burial in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Rockland Township. Contributions may be sent in Dennis's memory to Humane Pennsylvania,1729 N 11th St., Reading, PA 19604 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
