Dennis C Christman

Dennis C. Christman, 62, of Lenhartsville, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Susan L. (Reimert) Christman. They were married April 24, 1993.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Carl W. Christman, a resident of Orwigsburg Center, and the late Jean R. (Koch) Christman. Mr. Christman was a member of Zion’s Church, Perry Township, and a former member of St. Johns Church, Allentown. He was a 1968 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. Mr. Christman was a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was the owner and operator of Christman Lake Development and was also a self employed farmer. Mr. Christman was a member of Hugenot Lodge No. 377 F&AM, Kutztown.

He is survived by Wife, Susan L. (Reimert) Christman, Lenhartsville; Daughters, Heather L. (Christman), wife of Todd M. Gruber and Desirae C. Christman; Sons, Troy D., husband of Kimberly (Waits) Christman and Nathan D., husband of Lindsay N. (Frymoyer) Christman, all of Lenhartsville; Sister, Diane J. (Christman), wife of Leon G. Smith, Kutztown; Grandchildren Connor M. and Mason T. Gruber, Emma C. and Cole T. Christman and Logan H. Christman-Warke.

Funeral Services are Friday, January 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Private inurnment with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family in Zion Cemetery of Perry Township. Friends may call Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to Zions Church, 770 Zion’s Church Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
