Denise Ann Woods

Denise Ann (Wilson) Woods, 64, formerly of Kutztown, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident for three months.

Born in East Stroudsburg, PA, Denise was a daughter of the late John Edward Wilson and Nora Amelia (Miller) Wilson. She honorably and faithfully served her country in the United States Army for 11 years. Following her discharge from the Army, Denise worked at Prizer Paints as well as a telephone directory company. Most recently, she was employed as an Activity Aide at Kutztown Manor, Inc., Kutztown, for eight years, last working in August.

Denise was an avid yearly attendee of Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire since 2002. Along with her twin sister, Debra, the two were known fondly as “The Twins” and traveled to the faire weekly during the 13-week season.

Denise is survived by her four sisters and three brothers.

She will be laid to rest in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, alongside her fellow comrades.
