Delores L Sterner

Delores L. Sterner, 79, of New Tripoli, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Robert G. Sterner, Sr., who died October 27, 2003.

Born in Maxatawny Township, she was a daughter of the late Clarence D., Sr., and Meda M. (Kramer) Geist. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Mrs. Sterner was a homemaker. She loved building puzzles, going to yard sales, and listening to country western music.

She is survived by Daughters, Connie R. (Sterner), wife of Milton H. Mengel, Lyon Station, Judy L. (Sterner), wife of Keith Silasavage, Leesport, Kathy L. (Sterner) Fisher, Fleetwood; Sons, Robert G. Sterner, Jr., Kutztown, Ricky L. Sterner, New Tripoli; Sister, Bonnie Lou (Geist) Marker; Brothers, Robert Geist, Larry Geist, Clarence Geist, Jr., Rick Geist; Grandchildren, Mark T. Paine, Sherry L. Wentzel, Tonya L. Wright, Matthew F. Silasavage, Nicole L. Hinkle, Jennifer L. Fisher, Amanda L. Gring; and Great Grandchildren, Alyssa, Emily, Ashley, Briana, Austin, Aubrey, Kaylee, Brandon, Dylan, Ava, Avery, Tyler; and her four-legged companion, Cookie. She was predeceased by a Grandson, Eric G. Fisher, Jr., in 2003.

Funeral Services are Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
