Debbie A. Derr

Debbie A. Derr, 60, of Allentown, died suddenly Sunday, July 1, 2018, in her home.  Debbie was the life partner of Beatrice Nystrand, Catasauqua.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Leon W. and Lillian R. (O'Neil) Derr.  Debbie previously worked as a kitchen worker in the hospitality industry.  She had a love for gardening especially growing lilies.

In addition to her life partner of 36 years, Beatrice, Debbie is survived by brothers: Terry L. and his wife Barbara Derr, Shartlesville; Dale G. and his wife Susan Derr, Spring Township; and Neal R. and his wife Brenda Derr, Kempton; also a half sister, Linda (Derr) Boyer, Mertztown.  In addition to her parents, Debbie was predeceased by brothers Dennis L. Derr; Donald A. Derr, Dean R. Derr, Jay A. Derr, Robert Derr and Lynn Derr.

The family will host a graveside service on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood (Rockland Township), PA 19522.

The family requests contributions be made in Debbie's memory to  National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Valley Chapter, 30 South 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA  19103.
