Mr. Dean Hunter Wehr

Dean Hunter Wehr, Sr., 75, of Hamburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in the residence of his daughter. He was the husband of Elsie Mae (Schearer) Wehr.

Born in Allentown, Dean was the son of the late Earl A. and Francis M. (Kressly) Wehr. He was the owner and primary operator of Wehr & Sons Mobile Home Service and later worked for Utz Quality Foods. Dean enjoyed the great outdoors. He always looked forward to the fishing trips in Canada and traveling to the hunting cabin in Renovo PA, where many great memories were made with his family and close friends.

In addition to his wife of 57 years Elsie, Dean is survived by his three children, Melony M. Weinman, Dean H. Wehr, Jr., both of Kutztown, and Christopher D. Wehr, of Richfield, OH, and their families.

He will be reunited with his parents and his two dogs, Sissy and Cody, who recently predeceased him, along with other family members and friends.

Services for Dean will be held privately by his family.
