David W. Schreibeck

David W. Schreibeck, 68, of Mertztown, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA. He was the husband of Cynthia A. (Young) Schreibeck, whom he married on November 19, 1996.

Born in Allentown, PA, David was the son of the late William J. and Genivee (Keffer) Schreibeck and was a graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School, Allentown. Dave was a skilled machinist and was the proud owner and operator of DWS Technologies LLC, in Kutztown for 27 years. He specialized in precision machining, prototypes, welding and light fabrication and was looking forward to his retirement next year.

Dave was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was a member of the Berks County HOG's. He had a love for the ocean, beach and diving. He was Scuba certified and was a member of the Allentown "Y" Divers. Dave also enjoyed the arts and photography, gardening, racing and sportscars. In his younger years, Dave was a proud scout.

In addition to his wife of nearly 30 years, Cyndy, David is survived by his son, Jonathan W., husband of Niki (Allen) Schreibeck, Apex, NC; daughter, Coral A. "Quill" Schreibeck, partner of Jamie Campbell, Crescent City, CA; three grandchildren, Allyson Paige, Madalynn Hope, and Genivee Catherine Schreibeck; and sister, Diane E. (Schreibeck), wife of James R. Clause, Roanoke, VA.

Along with his parents, William and Genivee, David was predeceased by a grandson, Nathan W. Schreibeck.

A viewing for Dave will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 E. Weis Street, Topton, PA, followed by a funeral service to celebrate and honor his life at 5:00 p.m. with The Reverend Lisa K. Borrell officiating. Entombment will be held in Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Raleigh, NC.
