David P. Kline, 43, of Topton, died Monday, July 5, 2021, in his residence. Born in Allentown he was a son of Donald A., husband of Cheryl M. Gogel - Kline, Mertztown and Debra D. (Oswald) Kline companion of James G. Hageter, Topton.
David was employed at East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, currently as an assembly line laborer. He had been employed at East Penn over twenty years.
David was a car enthusiast, especially the 1963 Chevrolet Impala, which he enjoyed showing at area car shows.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by two sons: Austin M. Kline, Topton; and James P. Kline, Douglassville. Other survivors include a sister, Diana M. (Kline), wife of Christopher G. McIntyre, Blandon; his paternal grandmother, Marie D. (Weber), wife of Noel P. Hertzog, Kutztown; half brother, Donald A. Kline, Jr., Erie, PA; half sister, Destiny C. Hageter, fiancé of Aaron VanDyke, Pennsburg; two step brothers: Craig L. Hageter, companion of Amy L. Smith, Kutztown; and Christopher J. Hageter, Topton.
A graveside service to celebrate David's life will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, immediately prior to the service.
