David P. Arndt

March 26, 1957 — February 1, 2024

David P. Arndt, 66, of Fleetwood, died suddenly in his home on Thursday, February 1, 2024.  David was the loving husband of Faye D. (Fricker) Arndt.  They were married January 6, 1979.  Born in Reading, David was a son of the late Paul W. and Lillian M. (Heinly) Arndt.  He was a member of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown.

David was employed as a Material Handler nearly 30 years until his retirement in 2018, for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station.

David enjoyed fantasy football, racing HO slot cars, riding motorcycles, spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

David was a member of Reading Motorcycle Club, Oley.

In addition to his wife of 45 years, Faye, David is survived by two daughters: Ashley N. (Arndt), wife of Tech. Sgt. Kaz M. Kramer, USAF, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada; Amanda D. (Arndt), wife of William P. Dobo, Fleetwood.  Other survivors include three grandchildren: Lilliana G. Dobo; Marcellus A. Kramer; and Hayden D. Dobo.  There is one brother, Dennis P. Arndt, Mertztown.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate David's life will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with The Reverend Dr. Michael P. Combs, officiating.  Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.  Relative and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, in the funeral home.
