David L Shoemaker

David L. Shoemaker, 62, of Reading, formerly of Sellersville and Mertztown, died suddenly Friday, June 26, 2015, in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, where he was admitted earlier in the day.

Born in Pottstown, Montgomery County, he was a son of Ruby C. (Romig) Shoemaker, Topton and the late Harold P. Shoemaker. Mr. Shoemaker was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ Church, Mertztown. A 1970 graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School, David formerly worked as a laborer at Solt's Saw Mill, Mertztown, and the former Kern Masonry, Topton.

He is survived by Mother, Ruby; Brother, Dennis W. husband of Kris A. (Oswald) Shoemaker, Mertztown.

A private memorial service and inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
