David I Thomas

David I. Thomas, 53, of 139 Clay Road, Longswamp Township, died Wednesday, January 21, 2004, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was married to Janis M. (Geiger) Thomas for 28 years last June.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late David O. and Ruth (Williams) Thomas. He was a special education teacher for the Allentown School District since 1975. He also taught in the child psychology unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, for 12 years. Previously, he taught for the Centennial School of Lehigh University, 1972-75. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in special education from Mansfield University in 1972 and a master's degree in education from Penn State University in 1980.

He is survived by Wife; Sister, Nancy Petrick of Mountain Top, Luzerne County.

Services are at the convenience of the family.
