David H. Peters, 55, of East Weis Street, Topton (Topton Borough), died Monday, December 26, 2005, in his residence. He was the husband of Nancy F. (Leibensperger) Peters. They were married June 19, 1982.
Born in North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, he was the son of the late Kenneth D. and the late Beulah E.A. (Oswald) Peters. He was employed for East Penn Manufacturing Company (DEKA Battery), Lyon Station as a heat seal operator in the Industrial Battery Division for over 20 years. Prior to that he was employed as a farmer by Jaindl Farms, Orefield, Lehigh County, for several years and in the same capacity for Jaris Corporation, Lehigh County. He was a 1969 graduate of Parkland High School, Lehigh County. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Pikeville Sportsman’s Association, Pikeville, and the Kutztown Grange. He was a member of the UCC Congregation of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis (Hereford Twp.).
He is survived by Wife, Son, Matthew D. husband of Tina A. (Frick) Peters, Topton; Sisters, Larue M. Peters, Orefield, Lehigh County, Elaine H. Peters, Florida; Brothers, Charles L. Peters, Robert H. Peters, Lynnport, Lehigh County.
Funeral Services are Friday, December 30, 2005, at 2:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Huff Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis (Hereford Twp.). Friends may call Thursday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
The family requests contributions to Huff’s Union Church Capital Improvement Fund, 340 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
