David F Walk

David F. Walk, 47, of Freehall Street, Mertztown, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, where he had been a patient since early February.

Born in West Reading, PA he was a son of Franklin B. Walk, Jr. with whom he resided and the late Carol Fay (Reifsnyder) Walk who died on January 15, 1969. He was a 1978 graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School where he participated in soccer and wrestling. He was a US Army veteran. He worked as a carpenter and painter for various contractors in the area last working in 2006. Dave was an avid motorcycle rider, enjoyed going to farmers markets and was interested in news and current events.

He is survived by Father and Brothers, Vincent A. Walk and James B. Walk at home.

Funeral Services are Monday, March 3, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Friedens Cemetery, Oley. Friends may call Sunday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
