David F. Stimeling, 82, of Kempton, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Nancy E. (Cain) Stimeling.
Born in Berkwick, Columbia County, PA he was a son of the late Austin and Myrtle (Swire) Stimeling. He was a 1945 graduate of Berwick High School, Berwick. Mr. Stimeling was a US Army Air Force veteran of WWII. He was a sound engineer for Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for 40 years retiring in 1986.
He is survived by Daughters, Linda N. (Stimeling) wife of Lester G. Jones, Philadelphia, Evelyn F. (Stimeling) wife of Cooper Alston, West Chester; Sons, Peter D. husband of Annette K. (Mihlfried) Stimeling, Kempton, Konrad R. husband of Mary (Morgan) Stimeling, Purcellville, VA; Sister, Ginny (Stimeling) Maurer and Brother, Kenneth Boston, both of Berwick; Grandchildren, Darryl Jones, Rebecca Jones, Kevin Stimeling, Kimberly Stimeling, Kurt Stimeling and Erik Stimeling.
Memorial Services are Monday, October 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment in Ziegel’s Church Union Cemetery, Weisenberg Township, with Military Honors provided by the Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion Honor Guard, Topton. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
The family requests contributions to the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association, Delaware Valley Headquarters, 325 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
