Darryl R. Green

Darryl R. Green, 63, of Kutztown, died peacefully, Saturday, March 26, 2022, in Willow Brook, Nursing Home, Kutztown, where he was a patient three years.  Born in Allentown, Darryl was a son of the late Valoris T. and Annie (Taylor) Green.

Darryl first worked for Caloric Corporation, at its Topton location, as an enameler.  He went on to work as a security guard at numerous locations within the Lehigh Valley until his retirement in 2014.

Darryl enjoyed playing pool, hausey, and pinochle.  He also enjoyed attending sporting events.

Darryl is survived by siblings: Dori-Anne Green, wife of Ricky L. Hollenbach, Kutztown; Derek J., husband of Anna M. (Kressley) Green, Weisenberg Township; Dina I. (Green), wife of Dale A. Hartzell, Coplay, Diana C. (Green) Shook, Weisenberg Township. There are eleven nieces and nephews in addition to extended family that survive Darryl. In addition to his parents, Darryl was predeceased by a brother, Drew T. Green and a niece, Clarissa I. Colson.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate and Honor Darryl's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on  Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Andrew W. Meckstroth, officiating. Inurnment in Berks County Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
