Daniel L. Trexler

Daniel L. Trexler, 66, of Longswamp Township, died Sunday, December 19, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of Linda A. (Gechter) Trexler, with whom he resided, and the late Lester S. Trexler.

Daniel was employed as a carpenter for many years doing construction and renovations for several contractors in the area.

Daniel was a member of the Alburtis Fire Company, Alburtis, where he enjoyed his Saturday afternoon card games.  He also enjoyed NASCAR, football, sitting on the front porch and his beloved cat Cleo.

In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by a sister, Cindy L. (Trexler) Rothermel, Alburtis.  In addition there are four nieces: Sally (Gechter) Herb; Risha (Guth) Bower; Cheryl (Gechter) Reppert; and Sarah Rothermel; there is one nephew: Philip J. Rothermel.

In addition to his father, Daniel was predeceased by a brother, Richard L. Gechter, Sr., and a Niece, Shandell (Gechter) Zimmerman; and a nephew, Richard L. Gechter, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, PA.  Services and inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.  The family respectfully requests masks be worn when inside the funeral home.
