Daniel C Stein

Daniel C. “Danny” Stein, 80, of Kutztown, died Monday, August 5, 2013, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Oscar L. and Marion S. (Christman) Stein. Danny was a member of Saint Johns United Church of Christ, Kutztown. Mr. Stein first worked for Community General Hospital, Reading for 21 years, then worked in custodial services 11 years for Kutztown University, Kutztown, until his retirement. Dan was a member and served on the board of directors of the former Kutztown Jaycees. He also was a member and former vice president of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 839, Kutztown, and a member of Kutztown Fire Company, and Kutztown Fire Company Truck Crew, Kutztown.

He is survived by several cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Saint Johns United Church of Christ, 257 West Walnut Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Friday, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kutztown Fire Company Truck Crew, P.O. Box 301, Kutztown, PA 19530-0301. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
