Dallas C. 'Tex' Eisenhard, age 75, of 915 North 17th Street, Allentown PA, died Wednesday, October 25, 2000 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, 17th & Chew Streets, Allentown PA. He was the widower of the late Mary K. (Hertzog) Eisenhard.
Born in Alburtis, Lehigh County PA, he was the son of the late Charles and the late Sallie Ann (Schauer) Eisenhard. He was a Weight Master for 26 years at the former A & B Meat Packing Company, Allentown PA. He later worked as a Bus Driver for 15 years for the Allentown Housing Authority, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Saint Peter's United Church of Christ Church, Topton PA. He was Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was a Life Member of Nimrod Fish & Wildlife Association of Alburtis, a Member of Alburtis Rod & Gun Club, a Member of Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Topton PA, where he also served as a member of the Legion Honor Guard. He was Adjudant of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #217, Topton PA and he was a former trustee of the Topton Home Association, Topton PA.
He is survived by his Sisters, Shirley L. (Eisenhard), widow of Lee R. Fegely of Mertztown PA, Joyce E. (Eisenhard), wife of Thomas A. Biltcliff of Kutztown PA and Eleanor C. (Eisenhard), wife of Gary Pontious, of Upland CA.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 30, 2000 at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Homes, 25 East Weis Street, Topton PA. Interment with Military Honors in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.
