Dale D Bailey

Dale D. Bailey, 77, of Longswamp Township, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital In-patient Hospice Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Harlow J. (Schlenker) Bailey. They were married August 23, 1958.

Born in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County, he was a son of the late Warren L. and Blanche E. (Downs) Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Zions Union Church, Maxatawny. He was employed for 36 years as a tow-motor operator at Caloric Corporation at its former Topton plant until his retirement in 1998. He then worked as a security guard in the Berks County Court House, Reading.

He is survived by Wife; God Children, Trent Schlenker and Kevin Schlenker.

Funeral Services are Thursday, May 10, 2012, 2:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Maxatawny. Friends may call Thursday, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
