Daisy S Diener

Daisy S. (Conrad) Diener, 93, of Fleetwood, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of T. Stuart Diener who died November 20, 2000.

Born in Lyon Station, she was a daughter of the late Adam B. and Mary E. (Dietrich) Conrad. Mrs. Diener was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She retired from the former Carloic Corporation, Topton, where she was employed as a packer for many years. Mrs. Diener was a member and past worthy matron of Order of the Eastern Star, East Penn Chapter No. 336, Kutztown. She was also a member of the Lyon's Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Diener enjoyed traveling, jigsaw puzzles, spending time with family and friends, and most of all playing slot machines at many different casinos around the U.S.

She is survived by Daughter, Darlene S. (Esterly), wife of Kerry L. Schildt, Fleetwood, with whom she resided; Son, Bryan H., husband of Diane Esterly, Apex, NC; Daughter-in-law, Barbara Esterly, widow of predeceased Son, Gene A. Esterly, who died in 2003; 4 Grandchildren, Bryan L., husband of Tracy Esterly, Hope Mills, NC, Glenn A. Esterly., partner of Michael Galindo Fontanes, Davenport, FL, Sherry L., wife of Randy Stitzel, Fleetwood, Kristin wife of Russ Robinson, Kernersville, NC; 4 Great Grandsons, Ryan and Tyler Stitzel, Derek and Andrew Esterly. She is also survived by her four-legged companions, Molly, Suzy, and Buffy; one Sister, and was predeceased by one Brother.

Graveside Services are Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 12:00 noon in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Relatives and friends may call Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown.
