Ms. Cynthia L. Wenrich

Cynthia Louise Wenrich, 71, of Kutztown, PA, passed away suddenly on October 6, 2023. Cyndy was born September 18, 1952 in Reading, PA. She attended Brandywine Heights High School. After receiving a degree in Social Work from Albright College, she earned a Master's degree in Counselling from Kutztown University. She served as the Elementary Guidance Counselor in the Brandywine Heights School District for 20 years - cherishing the relationships she developed with her students.

In retirement, her desire to be active in community services led her down several paths. She worked as a Library Assistant at the Kutztown Public Library. Cyndy obtained a paralegal degree and worked part-time as a Court Tip staff at the Reading Courthouse. She also volunteered on several political campaigns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Wenrich, and is survived by her sister, Cheryl Wenrich-Smith, her beloved niece and nephew, Alison and Eric Smith, and best friend, Larry Youse.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Cyndy’s life will be held at Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Cyndy’s memory to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508, are being accepted in her name.
