Ms. Cynthia L. Fenstermacher-Burkert

Cynthia L. Fenstermacher-Burkert, 65, of Albany Township, died June 22, 2024 in her home. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Lois E. (Bitting) Fenstermacher, and the late Richard J. Fenstermacher.

Cynthia was a 1977 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, and earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Kutztown University in 1980, and her Master of Education from Kutztown University in 1982.

She was a reading teacher at Lehighton School District, Lehighton, PA for several years.

In addition to her mother, Lois, Cynthia is survived by a daughter, Korri L. Burkert, and a son, Max C. Burkert, both of Blandon. There are two grandchildren, Jayce M. Bortz and Oceana S. Walk; and a sister, Lisa A. Fenstermacher, Kutztown, PA.

Services for Cynthia were held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial was held in Union Cemetery of Bowers, Bowers, PA.
