Connie Louise (Rauenzahn) Royles, 76, of Topton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026 in her residence. She was the widow of Harold L. "Moose" Royles, III, who died on May 28, 2018, and whom she married on February 2, 1974.
Born in Allentown, PA, Connie was a daughter of the late Edwin A. Rauenzahn and Miriam I. (Leeser-Keiser) Rauenzahn Werst. Connie was a 1967 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Topton.
Connie devoted her life to her family and her work as a Medical Secretary in the healthcare industry. Her unwavering dedication and compassion for others touched the lives of many throughout her career. She was employed by Bub and Associates Family Medical Center and Dr. Timothy Schmeltzle in Emmaus for many years. Most recently, Connie was employed by Lehigh Area Medical Associates, Allentown until her retirement. Connie enjoyed camping, traveling, collecting lighthouses and watching the Olympics. She was a member of the former Brandywine Minstrels. Above all, Connie loved her family. She was her children's biggest supporter in their sports and musical endeavors.
She was a devoted mother, whose love, guidance, and kind spirit continue to inspire her children every day. Connie is survived by her two children, Lindsay B. (Royles), widow of Howard H. Fernsler, Topton, and Steven E., husband of Jenni L. (Reinhard) Royles, Kutztown; sisters, Joan M. (Rauenzahn), wife of Michael Kelly, Macungie, and Jill M. (Rauenzahn) Matelan, West Chester; brother, Jack E. Rauenzahn, husband of Grace M. Kelsch, Topton; and granddog, Kip.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor Connie's life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 E. Weis Street, Topton, PA. Burial will follow in Topton Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. As we remember Connie, let us celebrate the love she freely bestowed upon her family and friends. Her spirit will live on in our hearts, and her legacy will continue through the lives she touched
