Clyde W Dickert

October 30, 1915 — December 14, 2009

Clyde W. Dickert, 94, died Monday, December 14, 2009 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton. He was the husband of Dorothy H. (Hiegley) Dickert. They were married on September 7, 1941.

Born in Quakertown, PA he was a son of the late Warren Y. and Ada S. (Kramer) Dickert. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton. He was a US Army veteran of WWII serving from 1943 to 1945. He was a foreman in the machine shop at US Gauge, now Ameteck, Inc., Sellersville, for 10 years and he also worked in the same capacity at Crescent Brass, Reading, retiring in 1980. Mr. Dickert was a past school board director of Richland Township, Bucks County, from 1957 to 1962. He was a 53 year member of the F. & A.M. Lodge #512, Quakertown.

He is survived by Wife; Sons, Ronald C. husband of Phyllis (Gogel) Dickert, Whitehall, John W. husband of Anita (Lakis) Dickert, Allentown; Sister, Doris M. (Dickert) widow of Charles Willauer, Jr., Quakertown; Brother, Warren Y. husband of Evelyn (Solliday) Dickert, Greenville, TN; 4 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, 6 Step Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Sister, Geraldine E. (Dickert) Walker and Brother Donald Dickert.

Memorial Services are Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton. Inurnment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Allentown, at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

The family requests contributions to Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, PA 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
