Claude D Heffner

Claude D. Heffner, age 84 of 59 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown PA, died Sunday, April 16, 2000 at Henry Health Care Center, Topton Lutheran Home where he resided since March 20, 1999. He was the husband of Mary C. (Rahn) Heffner. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last October.

Born in Lyon Station, Berks County PA, he was the son of the late Leanus K. Heffner and the late Ada (Rothermel) Heffner. He was a foreman at Carpenter Technology, Reading for 38 years retiring in 1977. He was a member of Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ Church, 47 - 51 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown PA, where had served on the consistory.

He is survived by his Wife; Two Sons, C. David Heffner of Lenhartsville PA and Jay B. Heffner of Kutztown PA; and 1 Granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment Hope Cemetery, Dryville. No calling hours. The family requests contributions be made to Saint Paul’s UCC Church Memorial Fund, 47 - 51 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown PA 19530.
