Ms. Clarissa Isabel Colson

Clarissa Isabel Colson, 22, of Kutztown, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, January 22, 2021. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Stephen Colson, husband of Michelle L. (Doyle) Colson, of Allentown and Diana C. (Green) Shook, companion of Ricky L. Sterner, of New Tripoli.

Clarissa was a 2017 graduate of Parkland High School and worked as a Cashier at the Bandit Truck Stop in New Smithville. Clarissa loved to draw and be creative and had an appreciation for all genres of music. Above all, spending time with her family and friends was very important to her.

In addition to her parents, Clarissa is survived by her siblings, Ashley M. Merkel, companion of Rory L. Geisinger, Shoemakersville, Dustin T., husband of Alexis N. (Squitieri) Merkel, Shartlesville, Nathanel S. Colson, Fort Bragg, NC, Travis R. Colson, Shartlesville, Cheyanna L. Conklin, fiancé of Anthony Collazo, Macungie, Augustus M. Conklin, fiancé of Sarah Muffley, Allentown, Madison P. Conklin, Allentown, Jalynn S. Colson, Allentown, Landon R. Colson, Allentown, Keegan B. Colson, Allentown and Taylor Colson, Pocono Area. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Richard Colson, Sr. and Sharon L. (Townsend) Colson, Macungie; one niece, Jocelynn Dietrich; three nephews, Cooper Merkel, Braxton Merkel and Ryland Geisinger; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Clarissa was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Valoris T. and Annie (Taylor) Green.

A viewing will be held to celebrate and honor Clarissa’s life on Tuesday evening, January 26, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA. Services and Burial will be held privately by her immediate family.
