Clair J Shankweiler

Clair J. Shankweiler, age 82, of 221 Chestnut Street, Kutztown PA, died Thursday, December 7, 2000 in the Kutztown Manor, Kutztown PA. He was the Husband of Mary E. (Bortz) Shankweiler. They were married 51 years on September 17th.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the Son of the late Nathan J. and Florence C. (Yoder) Shankweiler. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown PA. He was a Knitting Foreman at the former Deisher Knitting Mill and the former Benham Knitting Mill, Kutztown PA from 1941 until retiring in 1982.

He is survived by his Wife and Daughter, Christine M. (Shankweiler) Beck of Allentown PA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2000 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Homess, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown PA. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call 9:30 Am until the time of service.
